This week we are looking at differences of opinions in communities. We will look at ideas from other people's point of view to help us understand others more and hopefully learn some tolerance and acceptance of others.
The year 1&2 group are looking at similarities and differences with each other, and talking about feelings to try to help them be more understanding of others.
A few lucky year 5&6 children went to the Nanogirl Science Show on Monday - well worth going to if you ever get a chance. Apparently they are hoping to bring a show to the North Shore later in the year. There is a free video of her 2016 show on youtube if anyone is interested https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FkInHz4UoFc
"The important thing is not to stop questioning. Curiosity has its own reason for existing. One cannot help but be in awe when he contemplates the mysteries of eternity, of life, of the marvellous structure of reality. It is enough if one tries merely to comprehend a little of this mystery every day." Albert Einstein
